Key tips before you book

These reduce friction and prevent last‑minute issues.

IDP requirement illustration

IDP may be required

Some countries require an International Driving Permit. If unsure, get one in advance to avoid last‑minute issues.

Card deposit illustration

Expect a card deposit

A refundable deposit is usually blocked on your credit card. Bring a card in the main driver’s name.

Fuel and insurance illustration

Fuel + insurance policies

Most rentals use full‑to‑full fuel. Consider full coverage for peace of mind on road trips.

License and passport illustration

Bring your license + passport

Most rentals require your original license and a passport that matches the booking.
